This is the main resolution at the end of the Extraordinary General Assembly, held last weekend at AURELIA PALACE HOTEL Bastos-Yaoundé. The Founding President of the MISCURECADI Association, Hon Dr Barrister Fotso Fostine, took advantage of this opportunity to present to the participants the global vision of this initiative which aims to promote the cultural values ​​of Cameroon at the national and international levels.

The MISCURECADI train is launched. Yaoundé, seat of the institutions of the Republic, hosted on Sunday August 06, 2023, the first Extraordinary General Assembly of Miss Culture Regions Cameroon and Diaspora. This important meeting brought together representatives from different regions of the country. 8 out of 10 regional representatives were present, while 2 of them apologized for their absence. This meeting allowed the National President of MISCURECADI to describe in details the different facets of the project. A project that aims to be unifying, and whose main mission is to put the cultural values ​​of Cameroon into orbit. “We are called to come together, to unite our experiences and know-how. We want to teach mother tongues to our young children. We want to teach our young girls and boys to cook traditional local dishes, to dress with our local fabrics,” says the Honorable Dr. Fotso Fostine.

Among the regions present at the Extraordinary General Assembly in Yaounde, the North West region featured prominently. His Majesty FONGUH Emmanuel NDJI FONGWEDE II, King of the Songwa, Traditional Ruler of 2nd Degree in the North West, was prevented at the last minute, but was validly represented by his focal point in Yaoundé, Ms. Judith Yah Sunday Achidi, daughter of the North West Region and General Manager of CAMTEL. She appreciated this initiative of Dr. Fotso Fostine which emanates from the fact that culture, according to her, is the keystone of development. But unfortunately, “young people today lack knowledge of their origins”. In other words, this MISCURECADI project will be about cultural rearmament, to bring back these young people who are somewhat disconnected from reality due to modernity. Since culture remains the identity of a people. As the saying goes: “A people without Culture is a world without souls”.

SUPPORT FROM TRADITIONAL CHIEFS !

Another fundamental element which further translates the credibility of MISCURECADI, is the acceptance of the project by the guarantors of tradition. His Majesty Hoche, Chief of 2nd degree in the Far North, Director of the MPs’ Hotel and MISCURECADI representative for the Far North was present. Her Majesty Estelle MVENG, Traditional Chief of the 3rd degree in the South was equally present. In short, the traditional Rulers have welcomed the initiative with open arms, some being part of the Executive Bureau such as His Majesty Etoga Essoa, King of the Batchenga and new representative of the Center Region. The MISCURECADI Representative of the North region reiterated the position of the lamido of Garoua, committed to supporting the project. “The North as a whole will support this project, and especially with the anointing of His Majesty Ibrahim El Rachidine, the lamido of Garoua”, reassures Roberto Gaibai.

DeThe CEO of Yacht Center in Bafoussam, Mr. Laurant Blaise Tchouateun was appointed with his favorable opinion to the position of Treasurer of the representation of MISCURECADI WEST. Dean Jean Vincent Tchienehom has been appointed to the statutory position of MISCURECADI Advisor and will combine the new position of Number 2 manager in the communication Unit alongside journalist Jules Ngaba. Mr. Ayissi René, President of the Jeune Afrique Centrale parliamentary group, has been appointed as deputy to the SGA in charge of coordinating cultural and artistic activities, specializing in computer graphics. The auditor of the national executive office has been replaced, in short, many other positions have been filled following the exclusion of 3 former members of the Executive Bureau, one being accused of indiscipline while the two other ones were accused of proven fraud. Four honorary members have been appointed : The Director General of CAA, the very discreet Noah Ndongo, the Director General of Crtv, Mr. Charles Ndongo, the Senator CEO of Canal 2 and the Director General of CAMTEL, Mrs. Judith Yah Sunday Achidi who was also appointed President of the Organization Committee of Miss Culture North -West 2024.

MISCURECADI, according to its National President, Doctor Fotso Fostine, began by proposing a female model to Cameroonian society, but in reality, she intends to go further by also proposing a male model, or merely MODEL HUMAN, based on his/her mastery of a number of spiritual, cultural and social elements. “At a crucial moment when the whole of Africa is in turmoil for a positive and significant change in its destiny, or the world’s destiny at large, the quest for a MODEL MAN is essential and justified: if we want a world of peace, then we must first think about and adopt a Man of Peace as a fundamental element of our society. Individual values as a whole end up constituting community values. And that is why the work on a model woman or man becomes relevant to the general development of the nation. If Africa wants or has to counts among other countries in the global political and economic chessboard, it must necessarily constitute a new human prototype, new models of women and men capable of carrying its project and its ambition. This is what we want to tackle at MISCURECADI and invite you to do with us”, adds Hon Dr Fotso Fostine. To succeed, you have to stop begging and start working, explained the criminal law expert. To concretize her plan, the Founding President announced her donation of a 3-hectare piece of land located in the Center Region to house the future plantations and the future fish farm of the MISCURECADI association. In a word, the association will function like a real company. Moreover, the Honorable Dr. Fotso announces that she has already set up the Training Center for Western mother tongues in Bafoussam, in the Djeleng 5 district, 1st Street behind GOGENI. A real revolution in the cultural landscape.
